Fluxus Balance / フルクサス・バランス

An artist's book for instructional art organized by Fluxus member Mieko Shiomi for an event that was to be held in Madrid in 1992. The cardboard case opens to reveal a card with a printed photograph of a balance, 68 cards the size of business cards with printed information from participants to be placed on the balance, a weight to fine-tune the balance in case it does not balance, a list of participants (including Dick Higgins, Takehisa Kosugi, Yuji Takahashi, and many others), and a list of manifestos. The set is numbered 249 out of a limited edition of 750 copies.

フルクサスのメンバーである塩見允枝子が、1992年にマドリードで開催予定だったイベントのために企画したインストラクション・アートのためのアーティストブック。厚紙ケースを開くと、天秤の写真がプリントされたカード、その上に乗せる参加者たちから寄せられた内容をプリントした名刺サイズの68枚のカード、釣り合わなかった際に微調整するためのおもり、参加者一覧（ディック・ヒギンズに小杉武久、高橋悠治らそうそうたる面々）とマニフェスとが印字された紙、さらには読者が考えた「重り」を描きこむためのカードがセットになっています。750部限定刊行のうち249番のナンバリング入り。
